English Inn Hosts Potpourri Festival of Home-based Artists & Entrepreneurs, July 17
Silent Auction slated to benefit Fish Creek First Responders and Sexual Assault Center of Door County.
The 2nd Annual All-in-one Vendor Event on Saturday, July 17, 2010 provided an unusual gathering of independent spirits with one common bond. All of the display vendors are home-based businesses. We celebrated the 4th of July all over again by spending time with truly independent business people, from artisans and craftsmen ranging from cheescake makers to chainsaw carvers. Yes, they did demonstrate and provide samples including appetizers from the Inn for those who got there early, with drink specials all day in the bar.
There will be another opportunity to attend a festival like this one in October, 2010. Details to be announced.
The English Inn is located at State Hwy. 42 in Fish Creek.

Do you have gift certificates? We really had a wonderful dinner on Monday with Angie as our waitperson and would like to send a gift certificate to someone in Fish Creek.
Thanks , Joan
Thanks for the compliments! Angie is a sweetheart indeed. Yes, we do have gift certificates and I just added a graphic reminder to the bottom of out home page. You can call 920.868.3076 to order by credit card if you choose and we can send them right out.
Just came back from a great weekend in door county and the English Inn was definitely one of the reasons for our good time, first night I had the Duck with sweet carrots and red potato mash what a delight the food was so good we had to return a day later for a round of pork chops, the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable the waiting staff are attentive knowledgeable and accommodating would absolutely recommend to everyone. thank you the Davis’s
We are so pleased to learn that you enjoyed The English Inn so much that you returned… the following evening! Thanks for taking the time to let us know.
Do you offer any gluten free options? We are planning a trip in early June and I was also wondering if that is considered your summer season. Week of June 5.
Coming from northwest Ireland I have visited Door County many times. Last night,June 1st,2011 I had a splendid meal at The Ennglish Inn served up by friendly staff. Another good reason to return to Wisconsin.
It’s great to hear from an Irishman that loved the English Inn… we look forward to your return and safe travels!
We do not have a gluten free menu but we can accommodate anyone wishing to order and have the menu item created without gluten-containing ingredients. We hope to see you soon.
Would like to see your lunch menu on your website.
Thanks very much for a great suggestion. We will have it posted later today. Our Web design consultant is working on it now…
The Lunch Menu is now available along with the Children’s Menu, under the Dinner Menu. We also serve from this menu until closing, later in the evening after the Dining Room closes.
Just returned from a wonderful week in Door County! The highlight was definitely dinner at the English Inn! The prime rib was wonderful, not to mention the clam chowder, and Augratin potatoes! We topped the night off wth a wonderful ice cream drink with frozen cherries–would love to know the other ingredients! Thanks to our wonderful waitress. We’ll be back! DR
This looks like an absolutely wonderful place! I hope to be there sometime very soon!
We haven’t been to DC for years, but one of our finest memories was the seafood buffet. We will be up in a couple of weeks to celebrate our anniversary and we were wondering if you still have the seafood buffet?
Sorry we no longer have any buffets, but we have a seafood platter with lobster, shrimp and crab. It is billed as a single dinner entree, but two people will often share it at $64.95. On second thought, we do have seasonal holiday buffets like on Easter and Mother’s Day. They are always announced here on the Website.
Thanks very much… be prepared to step back a bit in time to Merry Olde England.
This may sounds silly, but we will be leaving to go to door county tomorrow, we have reservations at the English Inn,my question is, is there any sort of dress code. Like are jeans OK or should we wear something other than jeans, we are asking because we do not want to feel out of place! Thank You can’t wait to go there
